While celebrating nearly three years of sobriety following his 2020 relapse, Mulaney opened up about what he’s learned from his substance abuse struggles during an October 2023 appearance on The Late Show With Stepehn Colbert. “Thank you for another year of laughing like dummies, parenting like teenagers and always looking for your glasses (they are in your lap),” he captioned a photo via his Instagram Story on Monday, July 3.
