Old cloth, new clothes: six designers creating beautiful upcycled garments


From reworking streetwear to diverting good denim from landfill, upcycling can be labour-intensive but the results are worth the effort

Despite these challenges, a growing number of designers are tackling fashion’s excessive waste problem head on, and creating genuinely beautiful garments from unwanted clothes.
