Oh Rose, that's Strictly a scruffy makeover! Dancing star Ayling-Ellis larks about in old green fleece in far cry from BBC show's sequins

Rose Ayling-Ellis, 29, who has been deaf since birth, was pictured larking around in Hertfordshire on the set of ITV thriller Code of Silence.

It's a long way from the glitz and glamour of winning Strictly... but actress Rose Ayling-Ellis hopes this role in a scruffy old green fleece coat will earn her just as much acclaim. ITV's synopsis says: 'She's struggling to make ends meet, juggling two jobs, in a police canteen and a local bar, while also doing her best to support her deaf mum. The six-episodes drama is Rose's first major role since winning Strictly in 2021 with Giovanni Pernice, who has since quit the dance show over bullying claims, which he denies.
