Odell Beckham Jr. Mourns Former LSU Player Kyren Lacy: 'Rest Easy Lil Bro'

Odell Beckham Jr. mourns the tragic death of former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy, who passed away at 24 shortly before the 2025 NFL draft

Odell Beckham Jr. is mourning the loss of former Louisiana State University wide receiver Kyren Lacy just hours after news of the young player’s death went public. “As Lacy was illegally passing the other vehicles, the driver of a northbound pickup truck abruptly braked and swerved to the right to avoid a head-on collision with the approaching Dodge,” a press release from the Louisiana State Police read. At the time, Lacy’s agent, Rocky Arceneaux, told ESPN in a statement that his client was “fully cooperating with the authorities.” He was released on a $151,000 bond and a grand jury was scheduled to begin hearing evidence on Monday, April 14 — the day after the football player’s death was confirmed.
