Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Love Hewitt & Tom Bergeron To Host WBD Cable Net Titles
The trio unveiled new shows for Discovery, ID and Food Network at the Upfronts.
“We produced six of the top 10 new unscripted series on cable last year, and we’ll continue to push the boundaries of great storytelling to serve the dedicated fans of our signature franchises in bold new ways.” Hosted by Spencer, judge Edgar “Dook” Chase is joined by the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain, Danielle Brooks, Eric Stonestreet, Tina Knowles, Kandi Burrus, Tim Gunn, and Al Roker with his daughter Leila in the show, which will air later this year. Also at ID, is a new series from Law & Order and One Chicago boss Dick Wolf and Vanity Fair with the latter’s journalism as the basis for true-crime stories.
