Oasis Unearth Early Recording Sessions for ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th Anniversary Reissue

Oasis will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut 'Definitely Maybe' with a new reissue that unearths an early recording session and outtakes.

Deluxe reissue features album's scrapped, never-before-released sessions at Monnow Valley studios, outtakes, and a 1992 "Sad Song" demo Oasis will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe, with a fresh reissue that unearths the album’s initial, scrapped recording session and other outtakes. While attempting to recapture the band’s live sound, the recordings were deemed too polished and overly technical, so the sessions were scrapped, and Oasis relocated to Sawmills Studios in Cornwall to re-record the LP, ultimately one of Rolling Stone ‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and featuring breakout hits like “Live Forever,” “Rock n’ Roll Star,” and “Supersonic.”
