Oasis Announce Extra London Shows With ‘Invitation-Only’ Tickets, Band Distances Itself From Dynamic-Pricing Fiasco

Oasis, whose reunion tour on-sale frustrated thousands of fans, announced additional London concerts with tickets available on an 'invite-only' basis.

According to the announcement, the tour was the biggest concert launch to date in the U.K. and Ireland, with over 10 million fans from 158 countries attempting to buy an inventory of tickets that numbers in the low hundred thousands. The statement also found the band distancing itself from Ticketmaster’s “dynamic ticketing” process — which also outraged Bruce Springsteen fans when it was implemented in 2022 — whereby prices rise with demand, often into four or even five-digit figures. While the group has not yet announced North American tour dates, they recently teased them with a billboard in New York’s Times Square; a leaked purported itinerary, which has been accurate so far, has the group playing Toronto, Chicago, New York, Boston and Los Angeles-area stadium shows in late August and early September of 2025, before the newly scheduled London dates.
