NRL legend Matty Johns' bizarre connection to new Olympic sport revealed on Kyle and Jackie O Show
Kyle and Jackie O star Cooper Johns has revealed his famous father's odd connection to the Olympics' newest sport.
'Breaking' or breakdancing has been added to the Summer Olympics lineup for the 2024 Paris games - and it's a favourite pastime of NRL legend Matthew 'Matty' Johns according to his son. The radio stars then called Johns, who confirmed his bizarre hobby began after he saw the 1984 dance film Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Breaking had a trial run at the 2018 Youth Olympics, where five judges assessed competitors on six criteria: creativity, personality, technique, variety, performativity and musicality.
