Noughties pop star reveals he's releasing new 'euphoric, joyful and colourful' music this year as his hit TV show returns for third series
The singer, 41, is returning for a third series of Channel 4 show The Piano on Sunday, alongside Claudia Winkleman and new mentor Jon Batiste.
Its debut was Channel 4's best-rated new format since 2017, boasting 2.7 million viewers on average, with blind and autistic child Lucy Illingworth getting 'performance of the night' in an inspiring finale and going on to win the show. Mika quickly became a household name after his debut album Life In Cartoon Motion sold an incredible six million copies and went straight to number one in the UK as well as 11 different countries in 2007. The star became known for his catchy pop tunes and unmistakable falsetto tones and went on to release follow up album The Boy Who Knew Too Much in 2009, featuring hits We Are Golden and Blame It On The Girls.
