Norwegian Canneseries Contender ‘Rebound’ Back For Second Season
Norway's 'Rebound', the relationship drama starring Mathilde Storm, will return for a second season on streamer Null47.
Null47, an emerging Norwegian streamer curated for youth and young adult audiences and other niche groups, has quietly greenlit Season 2 of the short-form show, which is from Melike Leblebicioglu Kaveh and stars Mathilde Storm, Björn Mosten and Arjan Nilsen. Shot on a small budget, the entire show is filmed in the bedroom of lead character Alex (Storm), who returns from Bali, hoping to reconnect with her ex (Nilsen), but is instead dumped and heartbroken. She said that the one-location format meant she was able to “completely focus on the story, as you don’t have other options,” while Fahre noted that “the bedroom is the most intimate room in the house, where you show your real emotions, so it felt very appropriate to convey heartbreak.”
