Nordisk Film & TV Fond And Göteborg Film Festival Launch Award For Nordic Series
The Nordic Series Award replaces the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize.
Supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond, the award includes a 200,000 NOK cash prize and will be given to the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in the previous year. Previous winners of the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize include the political drama Power Play and Norwegian writer-director Kenneth Karlstad’s gritty coming-of-age series Kids in Crime. Our new shared initiative, the Creative Courage Award, will shine a light on production companies and broadcasters/streamers whose brave efforts and fruitful collaboration have enabled an especially fresh Nordic quality series.”
