Nneka Ihim Not Returning to 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' After 1 Season

On Monday, the one-season cast member released a statement to People confirming her departure ahead of season 9. In an exclusive interview with ET just a few weeks later, the singer-turned-reality star shared her exciting reason for leaving the show -- she and her husband are expecting a baby! The 37-year-old and her husband, Chris Bassett, 46, told ET that their forthcoming bundle of joy is "95 percent" of the reason that they decided it would be best for Candiace to step back from the franchise after six seasons.
