Peter Overton has been the presenter of Nine News Sydney since 2009 after starting with the network in 1991.
Channel Seven shared a photo of Mark in his army uniform and alongside his stunning wife Rachel as he received the honour. 'Congratulations to our Major Mark Beretta who was awarded the Australian Defence Medal for his service to the Army Reserves,' Sunrise's tweet read. Mark first joined the army reserves back in 2019 and spoke about his role on Sunrise, as Natalie Barr and David 'Kochie' Koch congratulated him on the medal.
