Nine launch investigation after MAFS producers cast a groom for 2025 season following DV assault acquittal over an incident with a girlfriend who was found bloodied in their bathroom


Channel Nine has launched an investigation after a Married At First Sight groom, set to appear on the 2025 season, faced court for serious domestic violence claims.

According to The Australian, court documents state that in June 2020, police were called to the Sydney home that Araouzou and his partner shared after a witness allegedly heard screaming. Officers arrived to find a 'hysterical and barely consolable' woman in the bathroom naked, with her 'head in her hands and blood seeping through', police said in a report. He runs the popular page alongside fellow foodie, Jasmin Weston, garnering a cult following of dessert enthusiasts from around the world.
