Nikki Haley Wins Her First Primary — In Washington, D.C.
Haley defeated Donald Trump handily.
Haley won the Washington, D.C. primary this evening with about 62% of the vote, compared to about 33% for Trump. The former UN ambassador is seeking more wins on Tuesday, when 15 primaries and caucuses are being held. But Trump is expected to come away with a lopsided share of the delegates, putting him on a path to secure the nomination later in the month.
