Nikki Glaser Clears Up Big Rumors Over Golden Globes Future
Nikki Glaser called hosting the Golden Globes 2025 ‘the best job’ she’s ever had as she clarified rumors she will return to host next year
Amy Sussman/Getty Images“I keep seeing headlines that [say], ‘She’s got a deal to do three more[Golden Globes ceremonies],” Glaser, 40, told Entertainment Tonight at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2, before clarifying: “I haven’t heard about this [offer] yet.” Last month, the stand-up comedian followed in the footsteps of previous Globes hosts like Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and Jerrod Carmichael by serving as the MC for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s (HFPA) annual gala on January 5. While last year’s host, Jo Koy, was widely criticized for insulting his own joke writers during the 2024 ceremony, Glaser received mostly positive reviews for gently poking fun at Glen Powell, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet, among others, in her opening monologue.
