Nikki Glaser Acknowledges Benny Blanco Joke At Golden Globes “Was Pretty Mean”
Nikki Glaser is looking back at her time hosting the Golden Globes and acknowledging that the joke she made about Selena Gomez's fiancé, Benny Blanco, was "pretty mean."
In a conversation at the Time100 Summit this week, the comedian admitted to having “a reputation of being mean” due to her appearances on the roast specials, adding, “But I’m hired to [be] mean for those.” Before making the joke on TV, Glaser said she texted Blanco and ran the quip by him. Glaser is returning to host the Golden Globes next year, which is set to take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
