Nikki Bella Reveals How She Explained Artem Chigvintsev Divorce to Their Son Matteo
Nikki Garcia revealed how she explained her divorce from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev to their son, Matteo, after the divorce was finalized in November 2024.
“I’ve used words like divorce, but it’s only been when he’s asked,” Nikki, 41, told Us Weekly about conversations she’s had with Matteo, 4, in an interview published on Tuesday, January 28. Instead of trying to scare Matteo with their new label, Nikki explained that she and Artem, 42, were focused on making it clear how the divorce would impact him logistically. After noting that the situation was “sad,” Nikki admitted their relationship hasn’t “been great for a long time” before they called it quits.
