Nightcrawlers star and DJ John Reid dies aged 61 as tributes pour in


Glasgow-born DJ and vocalist John Reid has died at the age of 61. He was best known for his work as a member of Nightcrawlers and iconic 90s track Push The Feeling On

Beyond his success on the dance floor; Reid had a notable songwriting career, penning Tina Turner’s 1999 hit, When the Heartache Is Over, contributing tracks for Rod Stewart, and co-writing Westlife’s UK No.1 Unbreakable. John also collaborated with X Factor boss Simon Cowell and Ian Levine, contributing to pop gems like Whenever You Need Someone (Bad Boys Inc), and wrote songs for groups including Eternal and Gemini. John Reid has died at the age of 61His iconic 90s track with Nightcrawlers, Push The Feeling On, was remixed by underground artists JCA and Rosabot and became an international hit.
