Nicole Kidman: ‘I want to work with Scorsese – if he does a film with women’
Kidman is not the first female actor to have criticised the director – whose potential next projects include biopics of Sinatra and Jesus – for his choice of subject matter

His 1993 Edith Wharton adaptation, The Age of Innocence, featured a number of significant parts for actors such as Michelle Pfeiffer and Winona Ryder, while last year’s Killers of the Flower Moon won considerable acclaim for its female lead, Lily Gladstone.
