Nicole Kidman is receiving yet another honor in her very long list of accolades. The Oscar winner will be the recipient of the Woman In Motion at the Cannes Film Festival which kicks off May 13.
In announcing the honor, the committee, sponsored by the the Kering Group - which owns luxury brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent, and many more - explained Kidman, 57, was this year's recipient for her 'artistic audacity' and 'transformative portrayals that have reshaped the representation of women on screen.' 'When a great actress works with nearly twenty female directors in the space of a few years, she shows the world just how vibrant and alive the talent of women in cinema really is,' said Knobloch in a statement. The Kering Group and the Cannes Film Festival have announced Kidman will receive the 2025 Woman in Motion Award, citing her 'artistic audacity,' and 'transformative portrayals that have reshaped the representation of women on screen'
