Nicole Kidman says it is 'lazy' to rely on chemistry in casting after THOSE steamy sex scenes with Zac Efron
The Aussie actress, 56, was asked about Anne Hathaway 's experience of being told to 'make out' with potential co-stars as part of audition chemistry tests in the 2000s.
The film - slated for release on June 28 - sees Nicole's character start a steamy affair with her daughter Zara's (Joey King) boss, played by the younger Zac, 36. She was speaking to the Hollywood Reporter's Drama Actress Roundtable in a group interview with (from left) Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Aniston, Naomi Watts, Anna Sawai and Brie Larson He told People: 'I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring and wonderful to spend time with.'
