Nicole Kidman reflected on the state of the industry, saying "everything" is difficult to get greenlit, except 'maybe not 'Deadpool.''
Reflecting on her wide-ranging oeuvre — which will include the forthcoming Babygirl — Nicole Kidman said it seems harder to make and greenlight projects nowadays, especially if they’re not big tentpole draws. Kidman is currently in pre-production for Prime Video’s Scarpetta, a mystery thriller based on Patricia Cornwell’s best-selling novel series of the same name, which nabbed a two-season order. Next, Kidman will be seen in Halina Reijn’s erotic thriller Babygirl, opposite Harris Dickinson and due in theaters Christmas Day.
