Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has been forced to leave the Venice Film Festival after announcing that her mother Janelle Ann Kidman, who inspired her and "shaped" her, sadly passed away
Nicole said her heart was broken over the death of her mum JanelleThe message said: "Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed. Sarah Friedland's Familiar Touch, a poignant tale about an elderly woman's transition to assisted living and her struggle with age, memory and her relationship with her caregivers, bagged the Luigi De Laurentiis award for a debut film. Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, as well as Luca Guadagnino's adaptation of William S Burroughs' Queer, starring Daniel Craig as a drug addict expat infatuated with a young student.
