Her mother Janelle tragically died just hours before she was awarded Best Actress for her role in Babygirl on the final day of Venice Film Festival in September in a huge achievement. Nicole Kidman broke down in tears as she paid tribute to her late parents at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Awards on Friday 'Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed,' she said in a statement read by director Halina upon her win.
