Nicolas Cage's Son Weston Arrested on Charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon

An LAPD spokesperson confirms that Nicolas Cage's son Weston Cage was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and released on $150,000 bond

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE that Weston, 33, was arrested in the city's 77th division, on a warrant stemming from an incident that occurred earlier this year. "Upon my arrival, I was met by my son who clearly was in a state of a mental-health breakdown, which in turn became a horrific experience. "Having the combination of [now-ex] Danielle and Lucian and my father in my life, just that trinity right there, basically is going to keep me here," Weston said.
