Nicolas Cage to Star in Spider-Man Noir Live-Action Series at MGM+, Amazon Prime Video

Nicolas Cage will once again play Spider-Man Noir, but this time in a live-action series at Amazon

“Expanding the Marvel universe with ‘Noir’ is a uniquely special opportunity and we are honored to bringthis series to our global Prime Video customers,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios. Per the official logline, “Noir” will tell the story “of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.” It was previously announced that Amazon was moving forward with the series “Silk: Spider Society” from showrunner Angela Kang, with several other shows in the works.
