BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Nicky Campbell has opened up about the effects of his health conditions, including ADHD, and how his dog Maxwell has been a huge support

Nicky Campbell has opened up about his ongoing health struggles after a mental breakdown led to him collapsing at London Euston station. Following the terrifying event in 2013, the 62 year old BBC Radio 5 Live presenter was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, a condition he found out his birth mother also had. Two years ago, a specialist also diagnosed Nicky with ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) after noticing traits like him becoming "obsessed" with various topics such as "the planet, litter and animals".
