Nickelodeon Announces First Ever Kids' Choice Awards Animated Hosts - SpongeBob SquarePants & Patrick Star to Host From Bikini Bottom

The KCAs, which honor kids’ and fans’ favorites in movies, television, music, sports and more, will “take place in an animated setting through enhanced graphics and advanced augmented reality.” As previously announced, the in person festivities will take place at the Pauley Pavilion on the UCLA campus, marking a return for the KCAs for the first time in over a decade. The SpongeBob SquarePants 25th anniversary celebrations will continue all summer long, with anniversary specials on Nickelodeon, a new movie, Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, and Play Like a Sponge UK shorts, along with several location-based experiences like a Krabby Patty Kollab on menus across North America and in London, San Diego Comic-Con, an aquarium experience across the US and globally, and much more!
