Nick Cannon took to social media Tuesday to share an image from a medical treatment he underwent amid his ongoing battle with the autoimmune disease lupus. In the segment, Cannon said that critical health issues bubbled to the surface while he was on a vacation with his family, as he experienced symptoms including swelling, pain and shortness of breath. Cannon said it took full commitment of body and mind in his battle with the ailment: 'Day-by-day I laid a foundation both mentally and physically to build back the life that I had almost lost to this disease.'
