The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs kicker’s speech has drawn a lot of criticism online, for his aims at abortion rights, the LGBTQ+ community, working women and more. He also quoted a Taylor Swift song and referred to her as his teammate’s girlfriend, called Pride Month as representing “deadly sins,” and took aim at IVF, surrogacy and President Joe Biden. “ Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” NFL senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer Jonathan Beane told People.
