NFL Alum J.J. Watt Calls Out the Double Standard of Taylor Swift Backlash
J.J. Watt exclusively told Us Weekly that he ‘can’t understand’ the negative reaction to Taylor Swift appearing at NFL games in support of boyfriend Travis Kelce
The NFL alum adds that Swift has “brought in a massive amount of new fans” to the sport as well as “all sorts of eyeballs and interest.” He notes that there’s “so many people” who are learning about the game who hadn’t necessarily tuned in before. The frequent attention on Swift at NFL games has caused quite a stir and even became a joke made by Jo Koy during the Golden Globes earlier this month. The “Anti-Hero” singer made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, watching them defeat the Chicago Bears from the Kelce family’s private suite.
