Newsnight's Kirsty Wark is seen for the first time since she accused Gregg Wallace of telling 'sexualised' jokes on MasterChef as she attends the Women in Film & Television Awards

The Newsnight presenter, 69, appeared in good spirits at the ceremony which was held at the London Hilton Park Lane.

In a statement to the PA news agency Banijay UK said: 'This week the BBC received complaints from individuals in relation to historical allegations of misconduct while working with presenter Gregg Wallace on one of our shows. 'Whilst these complainants have not raised the allegations directly with our show producers or parent company Banijay UK, we feel that it is appropriate to conduct an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate. His social media riposte came as it emerged his MasterChef co-host John Torode's wife Lisa Faulkner would think, 'I don't want to hear this', as he apparently delivered punchlines to crew of the BBC's flagship cookery show.
