He also is the host of two segments on the weekday show The Hill, on titled Pulse of the People and the other called Stirewalt Breaks It Down. He testified before the January 6th Committee in 2022 on the spread of false conspiracy theories over former President Donald Trump’s election loss. In a statement, Stirewalt said that “our industry has a nearly 80-year history of devoting time on Sunday mornings to programming that, in its best form, helps to make Americans better citizens by better understanding their government, the issues we face and their choices as voters.”
