Newport Beach Film Festival To Recognize Harris Dickinson, Jessica Gunning, David Jonsson and More for U.K. and Ireland Honors
Adam Pearson, Ambika Mod, David Jonsson and Harris Dickinson are some of the honorees at the Newport Beach Film Festival's U.K. and Ireland Honors.
This year’s Breakout awards for early career actors will go to Pearson for “A Different Man,” Marisa Abela for “Back to Black,” Jonsson for “Alien: Romulus,” Joe Locke for “Heartstopper” and “Agatha All Along” and Mia Threapleton for “The Buccaneers.” A newly-added Spotlight recognition honoring actors at crucial career turning points will be awarded to Mod for “One Day,” Dickinson for “Babygirl,” Will Sharpe for “A Real Pain,” Joe Alwyn for “The Brutalist” and Jessica Gunning for “Baby Reindeer.” Previous award recipients at the festival’s UK event include Nicola Coughlan, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee Lou Wood, Gemma Chan, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Paul Mescal.
