The series is set in a remote Newfoundland town, which is terrorized by a mysterious sea creature, and a hard-bitten fisherman must fight to protect his family, his community, and his vanishing way of life. McKeown will serve as showrunner and will exec produce alongside Chris Hatcher ( The Madness) and Sharon Hall ( The Expanse).
