New York Mayor Eric Adams Visits Scene Outside Donald Trump’s Trial, Says “Our City Is A Fair City”
The mayor praised officers for keeping order during the proceedings.
Earlier, a reporter asked Adams about criticism that Trump would not be able to get a fair trial, given the ideological bent of the city’s residents. Jury selection continued today, the trial’s second day, as Trump’s attorneys attempted to ferret out signs of bias among the pool. Trump is facing felony charges of falsifying business records, in connection with hush money payments made in advance of the 2016 presidential election.
