New York Magazine Reporter Olivia Nuzzi Placed On Leave Over Alleged Relationship With RFK Jr.
After 'NY Mag' reporter Olivia Nuzzi was put on leave, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. denied having an affair with the Washington correspondent.
In his Status newsletter, CNN alum Oliver Darcy reported that Nuzzi’s relationship with Kennedy began after she published her November 2023 profile on him. Nuzzi said in a statement shared with CNN, “Earlier this year, the nature of some communication between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal. Her statement came after NY Mag announced: “Recently our Washington Correspondent Olivia Nuzzi acknowledged to the magazine’s editors that she had engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign, a violation of the magazine’s standards around conflicts of interest and disclosures.
