New York Film Critics Circle Sets January 2026 Awards Date

The New York Film Critics Circle has announced the date for its annual awards gala for 2026.

The announcement follows the NYFCC’s 90th anniversary celebration earlier this year, which featured an impressive lineup of presenters and honorees, including Brady Corbet’s “The Brutalist,” which was awarded best picture by Robert Pattinson and best actor for Adrien Brody by his co-star Guy Pearce. Other Oscar overlap winners included supporting actor Kieran Culkin for the dramedy “A Real Pain” and screenplay winner Sean Baker for “Anora,” the story of a sex worker who marries the pampered son of a Russian oligarch, which won five Oscars total, including best picture. The effort, led by NYFCC member Keith Uhlich, includes financial support and two invitations to the annual dinner.
