Following his guilty verdict in December of 2023, Marvel dropped Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, changing the course of the MCU’s ongoing saga to focus on Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. Given the messy fallout between Majors and the studio, it’s understandable that neither party would even want to broach the idea of bringing him back to the MCU, especially given how controversial the case still is on social media.
