'Isn't It Scary,' a follow-up to 2019 Rebel Wilson rom-com 'Isn't It Romantic,' is in early development at New Line, sources tell Deadline.
We’re told Todd Garner will produce for Broken Road Productions, alongside frequent collaborators Gina Mathews and Grant Scharbo of Little Engine Entertainment, though these deals haven’t yet closed, as it’s early days here. Written by Erin Cardillo and Dana Fox & Katie Silberman, the film’s supporting cast included Liam Hemsworth, Adam, Devine, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Betty Gilpin and Brandon Scott Jones, among others. Most recently, Garner, Mathews and Sharbo signed on to produce What Kids Want, a follow-up to the high concept comedies What Women Want and What Men Want, which is in development at Paramount Pictures, as we were first to report.
