Romel Adam, Jose Canas, and Lee Cronin will executive produce alongside cult legend “Ash” Bruce Campbell. Evil Dead Rise, which was originally destined to go to HBO Max, was pivoted to a theatrical release in 2023, and minted $147 million worldwide, repping a renaissance for the franchise. The pic reunited New Line Cinema with Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell nearly 40 years after the studio’s release of the seminal horror classic The Evil Dead.
