Newly elected Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said that reviewing the Erik and Lyle Menendez’s case is a ‘high priority’

Los Angeles’ newly elected district attorney, Nathan Hochman, will tackle Erik and Lyle Menendez ’s case if there is no decision before he officially takes office. Hochman, the Republican-turned-Independent who defeated current DA George Gascón on Wednesday, per AP News, explained that the brothers’ case includes “over thousands of pages of confidential prison files” that need to be reviewed. After there was renewed interview in Erik, 53, and Lyle’s high-profile case 25 years later, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón announced on October 4 that a hearing has been set amid new evidence.
