New Kids on the Block Recall One of Their Fans Donating a Kidney to Another Fan

The band recently shared the heartwarming story on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio.

While Wahlberg didn't share any other details, back in August 2023, KABC reported that Orange County teacher Theresa Crockett -- who has polycystic kidney disease -- found a kidney donor after attending a New Kids on the Block concert the year prior. Fellow New Kids on the Block fan Christina Meyer from Wisconsin ended up reaching out to Crockett and offered her kidney. Walking out onstage, opening night of every tour, just seems not only to be more incredible but just more special, more meaningful, and a little bit louder every time," Wahlberg said.
