New ‘Jurassic World’ Movie Casts Rupert Friend
The new 'Jurassic World' film from Universal has added Rupert Friend to its cast, Deadline can confirm.
Rupert FriendGetty In the latest installment of the dinosaur franchise from Universal Pictures, the actor will star opposite Scarlett Johansson, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Jonathan Bailey. Recently, Friend has been seen in the Wes Anderson features Asteroid City and The French Dispatch, along with his Roald Dahl shorts The Swan and The Ratcatcher for Netflix. Otherwise perhaps best known for starring opposite Ewan McGregor on Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, the actor will next be seen in Michel Franco’s drama Dreams with Jessica Chastain, as well as New Line’s horror thriller Companion from Barbarian ‘s Zach Cregger.
