New ‘Fast & Furious’ Film Being Written by Zach Dean (‘The Tomorrow War’); Could Be ‘Fast 11’ or the Upcoming Hobbs Film

The Tomorrow War scribe Zach Dean has reportedly been tapped to write a movie in the Fast and Furious franchise.

According to Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider, Universal has tapped Dean to write a mystery project in the Fast & Furious franchise. Louis Leterrier, who replaced Justin Lin on Fast X, is returning to direct, while Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel were tapped to write the screenplay. A director has not yet been attached to the project, which will serve as a direct continuation of Fast X and then lead into the eleventh movie in the main series.
