Netflix’s Jo Nesbo Detective Adaptation Finds Its Harry Hole in ‘The Last Kingdom’ Star Tobias Santelmann
Tobias Santelmann is set to play Harry Hole in the Netflix adaption of the Jo Nesbø detective series.
Santelmann, who has also appeared in “Exit” and “The Arctic Convoy,” will be joined in the show by Joel Kinnaman (“The Suicide Squad”) who will play Tom Waaler and Pia Tjelta (“Made in Oslo”) as Rakel Fauke. “Underneath the surface, this series is a nuanced character drama about two police officers – and supposed colleagues – operating on opposite sides of the law,” reads the logline. Hole was previously played by Michael Fassbender in a 2017 feature film adaptation of Nesbø’s “The Snowman,” which is one of the novels in his best-selling series, directed by Tomas Alfredson.
