'The Witcher' is ending with Season 5 on Netflix

Netflix’s fantasy series “ The Witcher ” will end with Season 5, the streamer announced Thursday morning. Season 4 will be the first season with Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as lead character, Geralt of Rivia. It was announced in fall 2022 that Cavill would be departing the show after the third season, which aired in summer 2023.
