Netflix’s ‘The Waterfront’ Sets World Premiere at ATX TV Festival, ‘We Were Liars’ and More Added to Lineup (EXCLUSIVE)


ATX TV Festival's opening day will include the world premiere of Netflix's "The Waterfront."

Per the logline, the series is inspired by true events and “follows the Buckley family as they struggle to keep their crumbling fishing empire afloat and their legacy intact.” The drama premieres June 19 on Netflix. – TV Mixtape: “Reasonable Doubt” creator and showrunner Raamla Mohamed will discuss the curation of the show’s soundtrack and the role that music plays in the legal drama, currently streaming on Hulu. Previously announced programming includes a Jon Hamm retrospective, reunions of “The Leftovers” and “Unreal,” a panel for Hallmark’s “Finding Mr. Christmas,” discussions with Bill Lawrence, Mike Flanagan and many more.
