During that time, she has led productions such as the second season of Colombian hit The Marked Heart, which was one of the most popular non-English TV series on the streamer in 2022; and Fake Profile, which stayed in the global Top 10 for non-English series for six weeks last year. Leconte, who has 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, was previously VP of Development & Creative Production in Gato Grande, Creative VP at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Senior Director of Coproductions at Caracol Televisión. Netflix has invested heavily in original content out of Latin America and from its Mexico City base, with greenlights spanning film, series, and novellas.
